Mon, 13 August 2007 This is the introduction to The Rational Factor podcast. This first episode is just a little about where I come from and my journey through and from religion. In future episodes I will address topics such as freethought, skepticism, reason, science, nature, math, religion, philosophy and whatever else I find interesting. Hello,
I am a Christian and I just wanted to say that I liked your show because you come off as a real person with real concerns about religion and other things in the world. I will contiue to listen to your show and I hope that we can start some form of a dialogue. Take care.

Hey, just found your podcast and like it. I appreciate the references you provide. I had heard the Gilgamesh story before and just now read about Mithra, who some have postulated was the template that Jesus was created from.
Myself, I believe in something greater than ourselves and am still in touch with my late husband. I guess I believe in a "higher power", just not in religion. Religion seems to be the major impediment to knowledge throughout history.
